"A Clean Break" was written in 1996 by the NeoCons for Netanyahu. The authors found themselves in influential positions on 11th September 2001.
"A Clean Break" called for the removal of Saddam Hussein to be replaced by a Hashemite kingdom.
But it also called for Syria and Iran to be engaged in Lebanon, and for isolating Hizbollah. It also called for making Syria appear untrustworthy, which it has been due to the highlighting of the UN resolutions against Syria and Syrias slow withdrawal from Lebanon, while UN resolutions against Israel are hushed up.
The authors believe the external policies have been very successful, while internal policies have failed.

Is this fictional airbase a red herring to divert attention from "A Clean Break"?
Or is it part of the Arab nations' attempt to expose "ACB proxy activities"? If so, why not blame Israel directly?
