...there's another important point of view which is likeley to be overseen. The economical point of view of the Hariri-assasination and the involvement of global players:
The company that should be rewarded in constructing this 'fictious U.S.-airbase' in N-Lebanon reportedly should be Jacobs Engineering together with Bechtel...
Now the founder of Jacobs - Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs had strong ties to Lebanon (he and his wife are originated froim there) and his family even can be found as supporters of the American University of Beirut where on the Board of Directors a lot of illustrious names can be found (some are highlighted but worth of investigating more of them and their connections)...

Jacobs Announces Death of Founder Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs
...Oct. 25, 2004--Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) regrets to announce the passing of the company's founder and Chairman, Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs, last Saturday in Pasadena, Calif. He was 88 years old. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, and two grandchildren.
Dr. Jacobs founded his business in 1947 as Jacobs Engineering Co., a one-man company operating as both a chemical engineering consultant and a manufacturers' representative for process equipment. With his leadership and vision, the company grew to its current size of over 35,000 people providing technical, professional, and construction services around the globe.
As a life-long supporter of community involvement and the entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Jacobs was active in a variety of foundations and advocacies. His humanitarian endeavors included establishment of the Jacobs Family Foundation to promote community-based economic development, aid families and youths at risk, and provide educational and other opportunities to underrepresented groups. He was an active and passionate supporter of the United Way, the Boy Scouts, the Salvation Army, the Near East Foundation, and other worthy causes. In addition, he was a founder and Vice Chairman of the American Task Force for Lebanon, a member of the Board of Trustees of Harvey Mudd College (where his contributions funded the Jacobs Science Center), and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Polytechnic University, where he earned bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in chemical engineering. Dr. Jacobs served as Chairman of Polytechnic University's Board of Trustees from 1974 to 1984 and again from 1992 to 1994. The university also gave him an award for creative technology and an honorary Doctorate of Science....
As Hariri had a big construction company at his hands too - was there any competition possibly involved that lead to his sudden death???

...Lebanese intelligence sources report that even without a formal agreement with Lebanon, the contract for the northern Lebanese air base has been let by the Pentagon to Jacobs Engineering Group of Pasadena, California. Other construction support will be provided by Bechtel Corporation.
Jacobs Engineering and Jacobs Sverdrup are currently contracted for work in Saudi Arabia for Aramco, Iraq for the U.S. occupation authority, Bosnia, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Yemen, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
The Lebanese air base is reportedly to be used as a transit and logistics hub for U.S. forces in Iraq and as a rest and relaxation location for U.S. troops in the region. In addition, the Lebanese base will be used to protect U.S. oil pipelines in the region (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Mosul/Kirkuk-Ceyhan) as well as to destabilize the Assad government in Syria. The size of the planned air base reportedly is on the scale of the massive American Al Udeid air base in Qatar.
A number of intelligence sources have reported that assassinations of foreign leaders like Hariri and Hobeika are ultimately authorized by two key White House officials, Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove and Deputy National Security Adviser Elliot Abrams..."
And here again emerges the connection to companies as Bechtel and Halliburton and ALL connected to this near bottomless POT of FREE TAX-MONEY. The usual thinktanks like JINSA, PNAC, AEI,... the NEOCONS (Hardcore Bolsheviests under 'cover' - and NOT!!! the "usual NAZIS"...) are everywhere to be found again...
Hey, "hire or fire" - gets a tottaly new meaning. At least in the case of Hariri - who allegedly wasn't interested in "being hired". His "problem" was, that he should have had enough money for being paid off. He simply might not have been interested in dancing to another tune than to his own. So he signed his death-sentence...
After all - it's only business...
