In an earlier story issued by the MSM, it was reported that Thompson's
telephone conversation with his wife was suddenly terminated by a "muffled
sound."
Note that, according to the referenced report, there was no mention of a
silencing device.
Are we to conclude that Thompson impulsively stuck the weapon in his mouth
mid-sentence?
What were the entry and exit sites of the wound?
Stove hoods are made of metal, are they not? The spent slug was lodged how and
where in the stove hood?
So let me understand this correctly: Thompson's gift from his son becomes his
shroud, while Son claims that he fired three shots in celebrat--er in
memoriam.
With what weapon?
And the investigating officer does not even check the weapon to see if it was
in manual or automatic mode, although he was able to observe that there were 6
rounds still left in the mag.
Smell test?

Three shots for "in memoriam"??? Strange indeed!
Me - and others - think the model 645 - allegedly said to be the 'suicide'-weapon - has no "manual cycle" at all to keep the autoloader from operating when the gun is fired. Why is the 'investigator' than stating this??? The only lock on the weapon is used to lock the slide in the open position to make it possible for inserting new magazines...
