Thank you for staying the removal of her feeding tube today!!!!...I find it stunning that the court system is about to starve and dehydrate a coherent person to death! I was a veterinary technician for 10 years, and never ONCE saw a comatose cat or dog starved and dehydrated to death! I know a lot of people are realizing this is NOT a comatose woman, that she may not be able to speak clearly, but she no doubt in my mind FEELS pain! I have seen the video on the television of her tracking her mother, trying to laugh and generally acting ALIVE and ALERT and AWARE!
Please, do NOT do this to her!!!
It is awful, and you don't even have a notarized, authorization to "euthanize" this woman!!!
Euthanize being a kinder way to go than starvation/dehydration!!!
I have sent a lot of dying animal patients on their way. It is quick and painless.
This is a disturbing, inhumane and callous disregard of a living being.
