Because we are all in a great circle here, all connected. Either that or there is no hope and you might as well give the government back to the neocons and the UN. It is at once both as simple and as monumental a concept as that. Terri's life is as sacred as your own, as mine, as everyone's. By acting you affirm that sanctity of life for all people. By inaction you add to the death of light and promise that has by increments afflicted this planet and its creatures for centuries. You add to to great balance, on the side of death.
