Mr. President,
I have received thousands of emails from my readers. ALL of them are asking, praying and begging that you do whatever is necessary to SAVE Terri Schiavo. She is scheduled to have her feeding tube removed so she can slowly starve to death!
I don't know what you can do legally, but whatever you do will set a precedent that will be felt all around the world!
Mr. President, if YOU, the leader of the FREE WORLD, will stand up for ONE helpless woman who can't defend herself against the courts AND her husband, ALL women.... ALL over the world will KNOW that YOU care for them AND will do what is necessary to PROTECT them from harm!
Thank You for taking the Chadors off the women in Afghanistan. Thank you for closing the rape rooms in Iraq. The Main Stream Media ignores what you have done for women because to THEM it's unthinkable that a Republican Christian conservative has become the champion of women all over the world!!
You have stood up for women who never could have cast off the chains of the Taliban or Saddam by themselves, PLEASE STAND UP FOR TERRI!!
If you don't act immediately, she will be dead!!
Her husband is having her feeding tube pulled this week. It will take her two weeks to slowly and painfully starve to death. Terri has recently cried, “Momma, please help me!” Terri KNOWS what is about to happen to her. We have recently read about the miracle of the woman in Nebraska that awoke after 20 years like Terri! God is capable of MORE than ONE miracle!!
Put Terri in the loving arms of her parents and watch the miracle happen!
Please Mr. President! Please don't let Terri be murdered. Please do whatever needs to be done to stop these horror courts in Florida from sending this woman to her death.

I ask that you show compassion on another human being and disallow any actions that would result in Terri's death.
So many facts point to the obvious with regard to her husband - that he has wanted to "remove" Terri from his life for good. Her parents have asked to take her in and care for her.
This is not some animal or lab rat, but a handicapped human being. we have no right to decide if she is to live or die.

I can't understand why Terri Schiavo's accident is not being investigated as an open unsolved case with the local police dept. She had all those broken bones that could have been caused by an assault and not some chemical imbalance. Nurses say that she is visibly upset after her husband has private time with her.
To me Terri Schiavo is living evidence of a possible domestic assault. If that is the case her husband would probably not want her to recover much less speak ever again. The police need to get involved here.

I am a registered nurse for over 30 years. The medical profession saves lives and should not destroy them. Someone must in intercede and help this lady to fight for her life. Please support those who have given options to care of her and lift that burden from her husband who wants to terminate her life. This a decision that goes beyond medical ethics, it is one of a grave matter to support life that God has given her.

Terri is entitled to live and to be protected from the threat of starvation. Her rights are no different from those of any American citizen and she enjoys the dignity of personhood each of us now enjoys.

I have followed Terri's case for sometime on Spirit Daily and I am APPALLED at your justice system's blindness at the way you are treating her case in such a cold blooded manner. It is a sad day when a country's judicial system won't defend a disabled person's right to life, ignores evidence that her husband is trying to kill her, and evidence trhat she is more aware than he wants them to believe she is. It is judicial murder-and death by starvation could well be considered death by slow torture if you've ever studied the physiology of what happens.

I disagree with disconnecting her from the feeding tube. I believe she's being abused by the doctors and nurses that are taking care of her. I also believe that her husband is being cruel and he must be wanting something out of her death, perhaps life insurance money or something. He obviuosly feels she's no good to him anymore in the state she is in and could care less. Why not let her be in her parent's custody and let them care for her instead of killing her because that is basically what they are doing, killing her.

I would like my name added to every email sent to anyone that has the power to stop the killing of Terri Shiavo!
It absolutely amazes me that it is necessary to do an email campaign, to ask any "powers that be" or even have a discussion about stopping the murder of Terri Shiavo. Why does anyone think it's ok to do this? Her parents want to take care of her; her sicko husband doesn't have to. Why can't they just be allowed to do it? Who is anyone to say it is ok to kill her? It's absurd! Dr. Kervorkian is in prison for such acts, yet our courts think it's ok for them to do the same thing!!??
And while we're all at it, it sounds like maybe an investigation should take place into the circumstances surrounding her "heart attack". Why does her husband want her dead so badly? Why won't he allow any attempts at rehabilitation? If he doesn't have to take care of her, pay for her, or be responsible for her in any way, I don't understand his motivation.
Let her live..............none of you are GOD!

I cannot understand why Terri cannot be released to her parents and family. I guess it's because her husband is intent on killing her!
I understand that Terri's family is willing to give up any claim to any financial assets Terri might have, and to sign over to Schiavo all rights to her estate, if he will just release her to them. But the courts are afraid they'd be made to look bad, so they're intent on having their rulings carried out, even though they never really investigated the matter!!
Seems like Hitler's policies are alive and thriving!

We in the Virgin Islands have been following the story of Terri's fight for life, despite the awful persecutions of her husband and the courts against her personhood.
It is our hope that the judges or whoever seems to have been given the "right" to determine that Terri should die, will all be replaced by a new set who are not prejudiced. Protestant, Catholic, and Jew, her right to live is in our prayers.

It is beyond belief that Terry's parents cannot have custody of their beloved daughter while her "husband" is obviously extremely calous and merciless. She should not have to die when her family clearly wants her. He has plainly moved on with his life with another woman (I hope she doesn't get sick too!!!! She will know what she's in for.) There has to be a way to nullify the marriage when there is no intent whatsoever to be true to the wedding vows. He is clearly an adulterer. We are guaranteed the right to life in the Constitution. This is absolutely abomnible that anyone would even consider removing this woman's feeding tube....has the world gone completely nuts! In any court of of law, wouldn't this husband's statement that she told him she didn't want to be kept alive artificially be considered "hearsay" and be overruled?
How many people of that age discuss a subject matter like that anyway? This woman is definitely alive and if some technicality in some state law can allow her to simply be murdered than we are all in serious trouble. Is there no common sense left? The man is living with someone else for years. Has anyone even investigated how she came to be in the state she's in?

Is there an hidden insurance policy that Michael Schiavo have on his wife and no one known anything about it. Have anyone investigated if their is an insurance policy on Terri? This could be a reason he want to end his wife life, other then he is engaged to Jodi and they have 2 children together.

If Terry who show all signs of alertness is allowed to be murdered by the decision of the court, than all killers in prison should be allowed to go free also. Unjustified killing is wrong, no matter who commits it.

Terrie is alive and no one has the right to take a life any life. Only God can decide when Terrie dies and He can also heal her. I find it incredible that Terri's husband is allowed to advocate stopping feeding her when 1) He may have been responsible for her condition, and 2) He is not a practicing Catholic and should therefore not be consulted for what a devout Catholic would want. Likewise, how can the judge overule the moral judgments of the Church. Where is this separation of church and state the non-religious keep preaching about?

I work with disabled individuals, a few who enjoy the same quality of life Terri does. Each life is valuable and must be protected. We do not know what God's plans are for Terri's life. One thing I do know. We do not have the right to deprive her of nutrition. He was on the feeding tube and one doctor suggested I was keeping a man from dying; another suggested that I remove the feeding which I said NEVER. He live for another 8 1/2 years until complactions set in. He touched so many lives, many whome I do nid no know. Terri and her family are in my prayers. I've been following this case for some time, and studying her photos on the net. You can tell by a person's eyes if their neurons are firing properly. Hers are!! I don't understand what her husband's underlying motive is for killing her. It can't be the constant care: Her parents are willing to take over for that. It can't be insureance, as it all will be paid out to his lawyer and medical bills. He's free to divorce and re-marry. There is no logical explanation for killing her unless there is fear of stories that can be revealed if she regains all faculties! Sunny Von Bulow is in worse condition than Terry and I haven't heard anything about pulling her tube (I think she's still alive, anyway). God gives life. He should be the one to take it away. When publicans attach a monetary cost (and that's the real agenda, not their suffering)to an unproductive individual's life, and use that as a basis for letting them live or die, they have set themselves up for judgement by God. !
If they don't believe in Him, they will when they meet Him!

As a mother and daughter, I firmly and vehemently protest the abominable disregard of Terri Schiavo's life that has been demonstrated by those "in power"! What more can I say in defense of her life...a life that is not ours to take? People better suited for that defense have stated more eloquently than I the reasons why she should not be cast aside so cruelly. However, I would be amiss and unable to live with myself if I said nothing. In the name of the Most High God, do not let her be starved to death...allow custody to be given to her parents, so that she may receive the care that she was suppose to have in the first place.
