Vin Weber is the chairman of the National Endowment for Democracy. The NED is the parent organization of two of the three groups that organized the Iraqi election, the NDI and the IRI. The officers and directors of the NED are posted here: http://www.ned.org/about/who.html Weber is also a founding member of the Project for the New American Century, which is the group of neo-cons and war hawks that designed the invasion and occupation of Iraq in the summer of 2000. Is he for democratic elections in Iraq? I don't think so.
