Zarqawi is as elusive as bin Laden. His name appears to be used whenever a massacre is required.
As for that "democracy" they keep talking about, you do not create a democracy through violence. That is basic. And anyone who believes otherwise simply does not know history.
The CoW is repeating the history of all the other invaders from time immorial. Nothing more, nothing less. TP

US forces fail to capture Zarqawi
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, whose supporters had allegedly made Fallujah their base, and a militant cleric who was one of his top aides have escaped the US-led offensive on the city, Iraq's secretary of state for national security, Qassem Daoud, has said.
"Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Abdullah Junabi have fled, leaving their supporters to taste death," he said.
US and Iraqi officials claimed that Zarqawi was holed-up in Fallujah and had given residents an ultimatum to hand him over or face attack.
Sunni clerics in the city repeatedly denied Zarqawi was in Fallujah.
US and Iraqi officials provided no evidence that Zarqawi, who has a $US25 million bounty on his head, was in Fallujah.

Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi says he expects "today or tomorrow all the operations will end".
"We still need to clear those who are hidden here or there."
US marine spokesman Lieutenant Lyle Gilbert, however, says the largest military offensive in Iraq since last year's invasion still rumbled on.
