Dear Friends,
Surrendering to the movement of Cosmos is how I would word it, because Cosmos does give us clues when we ask it for advice; and, if you read my Mars in Scorpio post carefully, which contains my advice for the next weeks until Christmas 2004, you will see we talk a lot these days about why now it is the intelligent action to go within. Here is link for those who missed it:

Surrendering is also a notion that fits into Scorpio, aka 'letting go of it' - as Scorpio is where the energy often wants to control the outcome. Power is not force. Force is not power. But as we know, the more we wish to exert control, the more out of control things get, and so we have to surrender, while not falling asleep at the switch.
Into that same theme of letting go and surrendering goes the concept or notion of gratitude that results in grace. Well - Let's see how 'Shams', the famous teacher of the eternal poet mystic Rumi, put it into his few words:
Surrendering
Someone said: “Come with us so we can stay up all night together.”
“Tonight I am going to visit the Christian whom I have promised I would visit tonight.”
They said, “But we are Muslims; he is a blasphemer. Come with us!”
I said, “No, he is a hidden Muslim because he is submitted, and you are not. Being a Muslim is to be surrendered.”
They said, “Come on, for submission is achieved through sohbet (conversation and companionship).”
I said, “there’s no veil on my side, no curtain, so go ahead in the name of God, try it!”
Gratitude Elicits Grace
"One has to speak precisely and one has to listen precisely. There is love in hearts, there is love in tongues, there is love in ears. If there is a little light, it increases when one gives thanks for it. If gratitude is expressed with words, one says, “My God! Show us things as they really are.” And the answer comes, “If you are grateful, I increase my favors/abundance; if you are ungrateful, my wrath is stringent.” [3:7]."
I thought the above was accurate, and depicts good advice for the times we are now living in. We have to build bridges, with those who agree we must also let go of our 'self'. Look, my friends, we are all in this together. Let us build peace, forget about enemies. It is actually not difficult. I found the above quotes at this link, where there is a lot more short sound bite wisdom:
