Mr. Bollyn is making a serious assertion here, one which is as yet seriously lacking in documentary proof, i.e., it is unsupported:
Item: Cook County, otherwise known as "CROOK" County has been crooked as can be since the original Richard Daley regime and the Election of 1960 ( at least then ). Illinois has 21 Electors for President, and John F. Kerry won handily in that State.
Item: Ohio has 20 Electors for President, and George W. Bush is leading there while the State awaits the arrival of overseas absentee ballots. Once those are counted then the so-called Provisional Ballots can be tabulated. None of the major news organizations gave "provisional ballots" a total of more than 200,000 !! And there is always some failure percentage in the provisional balloting, although in Ohio it may only be around 10 to 15 % of the total. It is unlikely that every single provisional ballot in Ohio will break for John F. Kerry.
Besides, if "stealing votes" or misrepresenting voting lists or phantom voters are the keys to this analysis, then only a fool would allow his opponent to STEAL the Electors for Illinois without making a move to counter-act that THEFT somewhere else.
Vote buying in Illinois has a most illustrious history. Lyndon Baines Johnson helped the Roosevelt team win in the Cook County ( CHICAGO ) area in 1940 by drumming up the "street money" which went to certain pastors and clergymen in south Chicago, who preached to their congregations to support FDR for a third term and not to vote Republican ( in 1940 ).
Johnson didn't buy those votes himself, but without his active engagement with oil millionaires in Texas there would not have been any walking-around money for Democratic operatives to use in Illinois and especially on the southside of Chicago.
