You may find it of interest to know that the amount of military helicopter traffic in the central Wa. State area has increased substantially in the last week. Additionally the flight vectors are unusual patterns.
Further, there has been a crash program to enlarge the Yakima Airport. This Airport is already one of the largest in the pacific northwest. It is currently capable of handling all aircraft smaller than the Boeing 747. This handicap will shortly be removed. The project is in full swing and involves relocating Washington Avenue, one of the major transportation arteries in the Yakima valley.
This frenzy of highly expensive fiscal activity is taking place in an area that is so economically depressed that the money to maintain city parks and city bus service has been cut to the bone.
The project was unannounced and involves HEAVY FEDERAL SPENDING.
It began less than 2 months ago and is already nearly half finished.
You can draw your own conclusions as to why such an economically depressed area with very little viable industry and a small population base would need at this point in time, to expand an already "international rank" airport to "world class" status.

Maybe this is "practice" or "test run" for election night or 'something else...'
greta's report did mention Ferries
..but if "terrorist' and "terrorism " are scare tactics to force us into insecurity... and if terrorist activities are contrived for "other purpose" then this "test" must be for "other reasons," maybe to see how well the people go along with it??? maybe to remind them of the "threat"
the report did say "test run" clearly
we should probably watch this a little bit...

From what I can gather this was a "dress rehearsal" for Homeland Security. I , however believe that it is preventative in nature due to all the violence erupting against the Republican party. This is especially due to Laura's presence in the state. The Bush campaign has contacted union president of AFLCIO to discuss the intimidation factor being unleashed.
