Readers ask me often what it is about these stars and why they - the people - do certain things under certain planetary aspects. My answer is frequently that we are actually more than our stars. I dare say we are an alchemical experiment in the making...
The concealed wisdom of alchemy is a combination of philosophy, science, and religion. As such, it functions on three levels: elemental, human, and Divine. The aim is to transform the elements of lead or tin into gold and human ignorance into Divine Wisdom, all of which is tinctured by the active principle of understanding.
Alchemy is not an impossible art of making something out of nothing. It is just as the ancient adage states, "Nothing from nothing comes." Rather, alchemy is the process of increasing, improving, and perfecting what already exists. Consequently, making a man - - a homunculus - from a stone is not impossible, for that would be an increasing of elements and consciousness. Yet all substances that come from earth return to their elemental source. Nevertheless, the potential for development remains. With the principle of a unified Cosmos ("as above, so below") and the alchemical) process of increasing; from a man, a philosopher can make a star, and from a star, a galaxy – the human possibility of transformation becoming infinite.
The blend of science and philosophy became a religion. The concept that man was the seed from which the Universe was brought forth ("as above so below") lead to the fact that what is true in the superior is correct in the inferior. If it is a spiritual fact, it is also a material fact. If it can take place in the Universe, it can be done in a man. If it works in a man, it works with plants and minerals. Therefore, if one thing can grow in the great Cosmos, then everything in the Cosmos can grow. From this phenomenal logic, life in outer space is a given fact.
In other words, according to ancient wisdom, "Within everything is the seed of everything." In each small particle of cosmic dust are concealed all the elements of the Cosmos. Since they are trillions of times smaller than an ion or electron, these seeds will have to wait - as everything else that is unrecognizable or incomprehensible - the time assigned to them for expression and growth. Growth can occur only in two ways: either by nature or by art, naturally or artificially. Bearing this in mind, we inevitably approach the age and art of cloning humans with all its possible consequences.
