I understand the Free Trade Agreement is not ultimately good for Americans.
However, I find it interesting that the FTA is used for China's interest (a real threat to the US) while the US's so-called friends and CoW participants like Australia are "used and abused" by the US.
However hard the FTA is for people in America, believe me, it is much more difficult for the "friends" who are left with their "Free Trade" (cough cough) eroded yet again each time the FTA comes up for a rethink.
Bush signed our "Agreement" so fast I don't think Americans even knew it was being discussed. And we are left with less ability to export and forced to import a whole lot more - from the US too.
