Hello again, and greetings to all from Europe. I thought we would want to start by looking at the movement of Jupiter, the wise one, which will soon become visible as a morning planet, when it positions itself in the first degree of Libra.
September - October
Jupiter into Libra - Time for Peace
We have arrived at the station of Mercury now. We are still inside the volatile Virgo-Sagittarius phase. In addition to the themes we will discuss soon, let's look now in advance at Jupiter in Libra and what it means, while the inner planets now move also towards Libra. As usual I give you the theme update well ahead of time so you can adjust in your strategies and outlooks.
Jupiter was last in Libra from October 1992 to October 1993, remember those years? Clinton began with Saxophone and fun... that is Jupiter in Libra. Jove Zeus God of gods in the only man-made sign - the scales - is usually a time when economies can and do improve, as long as Jupiter takes good aspects from other outer planets.
Jupiter in Libra is also a time for marked breakthroughs in science and technology, in the enhancement of arts, music, literature, and all things designed to promote peace, balance (Sufism and Taoism anyone?!) and build bridges of understanding with other cultures. So, we actually have a great year ahead of us now in which we can at least in our own surroundings promote these subjects.
We will see new ways of evenly distributing and accessing books and new music and arts. If you look at the years when Jupiter was in Libra, 1992/93, 1980/81, 1968/69, 1956/57, 1944/45, 1932/33, 1920/21... then what do you see? It is always the moment when world economy comes out of a bad spot into a whole new sense of ... balance... well keep dreaming this time...
The economy will not receive the Jupiter boost as it usually does, because most of the time it will be severely impaired or challenged by status-quo reality-check planet Saturn in Cancer, still needy for security. However, Jupiter will support and be supported by Pluto in the sign Jupiter rules - Sagittarius - and so I expect this year will bring us much closer to the truth.
Jupiter will furthermore continue to square by 90 degree angle Saturn from Scorpio to Leo in late 2006, so that I must say I do not see the miracle of a new economy on the horizon, but that does not mean to say that we as individuals and as a group of enlightened few (Neptune in Aquarius) cannot reinvent our own prosperous economies.
Speaking in terms in terms of societal trends, I expect to hear of many legal issues, on practically all fronts, maybe even in the way laws and international law will be taught, understood, and lateron interpreted. A war crime tribunal could well make headlines during the coming months.
Also Jupiter will be in a beautiful trine 120 degree aspect to Neptune in Aquarius, which I read as very uplifting in so many ways, and when the Jupiter-Neptune tandem make good aspects, we can anticipate beautiful and meaningful books, poetry, as well as breaks in very faraway philosophical subjects. Sufism and Taoism will be revisited by many who see (Pluto in Sagittarius and Uranus in Pisces) that the truth is a lot more complex and also a lot more new or ancient as the case may be.
In a way one could predict - against all odds - that the coming 12 months starting at the end of September could well be a time marked by relative beauty and peace. The next year will bring us many great breaks and we might look back a year from now to a time when we enjoyed things. So, let us use this time with great purpose, because it will be another 12 years until 2016-17 when we get that position again. At least let no one talk you into negative states of minds with such spectacular aspects.
Now the Uranus in Pisces position is another and misunderstood story. Uranus there in Pisces wants to challenge the status quo of everything, and is interested in promoting spirituality in an untried way. It becomes almost an environmentalist there for many years, which is what we want. The aspect Pisces-Libra is inconjunct, and so Uranus and Jupiter will have to adjust via their mutual and complex aspects to Saturn in Cancer and in Leo and to Pluto in Sagittarius, which spells out in controlling the nucleus versus freedom of expression, not an easy dance to be sure.
The theme begins in very late September and in early October when Sun, Mercury and Mars, and later Venus move in line of Jupiter in Libra. It will be a very uplifting time no matter what will happen in 3D. each time the moon will meet Jupiter, once a month, in Libra, we will experience a good dose of fairness, and we will feel the impulse to create beauty and peace around us.
The most volatile moments world wide will be around this coming Virgo new moon and again early October, end of October eclipse, and yes, the election week itself sports a mysterious element which we will soon look into. Truths will be uncovered, and the populace world wide will ask for answers soon. We must tune into the Code of Cosmos to find that light within ourselves.
