I could not agree with you more. In fact I went out to see the moon this morning and a chill ran down my spine. In just three days the moon's orientation had returned to the Buzzards beak at 6:30, this is a 60 degree Libration in three days. I believe the time for squabbling and arguing about who is going to take over the government of the planet is over. The answer to that question is "...whoever survives..."
The time has come for this conversation to quietly and rationally and compellingly turn to what we can do to insure our own personal, familial and civilized survival should a disaster of "cosmic" proportions come upon us. I do not want anyone to panic, quit their job and go hide in a hole, not just yet, anyway, but we should begin to discuss what we can do to prepare for the day that hiding in a hole may be our best bet. I only hope that RMN agents and readers begin to spread the word about this. It is not speculation, it is not an interesting "history-in-the-making" spectator sport any more, it is a real thing with potentially very serious real consequences.
I am saddened and disappointed that those in whom we have vested the professional responsibility to keep us advised of events just such as this have decided to abrogate those responsibilities and to prepare themselves, but not us. Well, sadness and disappointment aside, then it is our responsibility to prepare ourselves, our friends, our families, and apparently our civilization as well for what appears to be coming soon.
I truly hope we are wrong...
