THE MORAL COWARDICE OF TWO MEN OF SKULL & BONES *PIC*

GEORGE WALKER BUSH, '68 AND JOHN FORBES KERRY, '66 ARE GRADUATES OF YALE COLLEGE AND MEMBERS OF THE SECRETIVE SENIOR SOCIETY KNOWN AS SKULL & BONES:
Gathering in Boston for their nominating convention, the officers and leaders of the Democratic Party are making a valiant effort to paint their Appointed Golden Boy, United States Senator John Forbes Kerry, as being "strong" and compassionate, and very caring. The Man Everyone Is Most Willing To Forgive -- William Jefferson Clinton -- took center stage to whip up a fever or frenzy among the assembled Delegates and other party functionaries, and he played his part in this Tragic Farce In Three Acts, very well. His life-partner and permanent Political Foil, U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was graced with the task of introducing her errant husband to the assembled throngs and throngettes. She did her bit well.
But there was one loyal supporter of all things Clinton missing from the multitudes there in the hall, a young woman who wasn't watching the proceedings from a comfortable seat in an Irish bar, who wasn't watching from the den of her new suburban home with her suburban new husband, who wasn't watching the Convention or its stage-managed speeches from the cozy confines of her paramour's Manhattan loft .... Her name was Suzanne Jovin, Class of 1999 at Yale, and she wasn't watching any of this because she was murdered.
TRAGEDY AND THE UNSOLVED JOVIN MURDER
Five and one-half years ago on the 4th of December, a vivacious Yale College senior by the name of Suzanne Jovin hosted an early-evening pizza party for "Best Buddies", a volunteer group which worked with mentally-retarded adults to give them companionship and to develop their social skills.
The party was held at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Haven, not far from the centrally-located Yale campus. Ms. Jovin, the daughter of Professor Thomas Jovin ( of the Max Planck Institute, a world-reknowned expert in microscopic plating and molecular biochemistry ), had borrowed a University-owned vehicle for the evening to help handle the food and beverages for this party. She had been associated with Best Buddies for most of her time at Yale.
Following the conclusion of the pizza party, Suzanne Jovin drove the vehicle to a University parking lot near her off-campus apartment, stopped by her apartment briefly ( apparently to check her e-mail or other messages ), and then took a short walk across campus to the University's police headquarters at Phelps Gate on the Old Campus. There, at approximately 9:15 PM on a rather balmy evening, she delivered the keys to the vehicle, and exited through Phelps Gate to the street facing the New Haven Green. In the next few minutes she spoke briefly to some friends and declined an invitation to join them.
She was seen walking north towards the intersection with Elm Street, one of the busiest locations in New Haven, at about 9:30 PM. There is some speculation now, that she walked uphill or west on Elm and got herself a bottle of Fresca at a convenience store on York. That store has long since closed.
TWO MILES TO GO TO GET TO EAST ROCK ROAD
Less than thirty minutes later, she was found on a street corner two miles north of campus, in a residential neighborhood which has some of the largest and most expensive homes in the city. In the days which followed, days which became weeks and then months and now years, nobody who knew Jovin knew why she was motivated to go to this street corner, or more properly, how she got there !!
But this is where the promising daughter of a reknowned scientist died, alone, her killers vanishing into the balmy New Haven air like wraiths, like ghosts, leaving behind only a banshee-wail that dissipated into the night.
She had been mortally wounded by being stabbed seventeen times in the head and neck, and left to die, on a patch of grass at the intersection of Edgehill Road and East Rock Road. A young woman of promise, a young woman of Yale, murdered: but when has John Forbes Kerry or George Walker Bush ever showed any concern over the death of this beautiful gal, this luminous light on the campus of Light & Truth ?? Approximately never.
