Bush Campaign Sends 911 to FL Lawyers

Bracing for a legal challenge to his victory in Florida, Goerge Bush's campaign is asking FL lawyers to help them deal with the challenge. NewsMax.com has obtained an urgent email from the Bush campaign to republican lawyers in Fla. It follows:
The campaign has decided that no more attorneys are needed in Florida for this stage of the recount. However, if the Vice President decides, for the first time in U.S. history, to demand a full recount challenging what will hopefully be a certification of Governor Bush's election, this will involve a 2-3 week process in Florida.
In anticipation of that possibility, the campaign is now gathering names and contact information for volunteer attorneys who will be willing to travel to Florida to assist in those efforts. Please e-mail to jjp@rnchq.org:
1. your name
2. contact information, phone, cell phone, e-mail, address
3. days or times when you are willing to go to Florida over the next 30 days
4. note in particular if you are in Florida or are within driving distance of any part of Florida
5. note that you are a "volunteer" if you are not a member of the bar
This e-mail must be received by the campaign by the close of business Thursday to be included in the volunteer effort. You will not be expected to work for a week or two in Florida. Rather, teams will be rotated in and out.
The campaign is confident of our ultimate victory no matter how many times the ballots are counted. I have been asked to convey the warmest appreciation from the campaign to all those who responded to the call for volunteers today. We received such an overwhelming response that I have not been able to respond to all e-mails or voicemails, and I apologize for that failure, which resulted purely from our tragedy of riches. This clearly is the product of the most successful and broad-based Lawyers for effort in history.
