Examination of passenger lists of other planes reveals numerous technocrats, under security blanket, who may have lent their names to op? Other names could have been fabricated. Speculative. But have any liner passengers joined in the Mariani case? None to my knowledge.
My hunch: No passengers on planes at all, except maybe 93. But...
Eyewitness identification of Saab jet suggests 93 was being towed. Shot down? Wreckage indicates a midair explosion. Plastique affixed to interior of fuselage and electronically detonated, like Lockerbie job, would have done the trick.
