I had a thought as I read this... If 27,000 girls and women had abortions for no reason at all, at any stage of baby developement, who would care? Happens every day. How does the wildlife officials feel about that? Guess it does help the population explosion. Maybe this is another way of taking care of the animal kingdom's population explosion. Seems humans are much more weepy about animals, birds and reptiles though. Wonder how the baby's spirit feels about being ripped out of it's "egg"? As Hanson said - "This may be just a normal correction factor - nature taking its course." And the ships move on...
