USS RONALD REAGAN STANDS OUT TO SEA...11 BIRDFARMS OUT!

Here's a little note: The newest carrier in the inventory of the US Navy, The USS Ronald Reagan, has apparently just stood out to sea. The navy's latest "Bird Farm," The Ronald Reagan is the only self contained weapons platform that can steam faster than 28 knots (approx 34 miles) per hour and can travel for 20 years before refueling. The navy may have failed to mention the deployment of the Reagan in the latest release of the active duty roster. The other carrier seemingly missing from the active duty roster is the Kitty Hawk, The Kitty Hawk is a forward deployed weapons system platform. Forward deployment is normally a rather unenviable positioning, usually placing one in the teeth of adversity. I wonder where she is? -CliffMickelson
