I thought all this moon talk was just a bit of lunacy so to speak, but I've taken to close observation of the moon during the last week and I must admit, I'm at a loss to explain what I've seen.
I spent a lot of time outside on Tuesday night, so the position of the full moon during the night was burned into my brain.
Imagine my shock when the next night the moon was a full 25 degrees further west! Last night it was cloudy, so I couldn't observe. I live in the Midwest, by the way. Thanks for your interesting posts.

Thanks for writing in. You know, it is funny how much one's perceptions change once a person starts to really look around at what is going on. There is truth in the old saying that the minds eye is it's own worst censor, eh? I often marvel at the things I see now so clearly that at one time I would have scoffed at. It makes me wonder what lies out there even now, that I still am too blinded by convention or old habits of perception, to see!
