Some people out there are courageous enough to want their own set of grid lines, so now I can help. If you look at the map below, you'll see node N1, which is where you start drawing the 62-node grid. You can place the N1 point anywhere you want, but you probably will want to keep N1 north of the Arctic Circle somewhere. The next step is casting a line out to node N2. You will need some idea of which way you want the line to point. Do you want the line above Scotland or Svalbard somewhere, and have a grid line run through Stonehenge? These are tough questions to answer. But when you get the bearing from N1 headed towards N2, I'll need that too. If you're not good with geometry but want your own grid anyway, you can tell me to "put a dot over this island in the Arctic Ocean, and make the line run across Stonehenge." It is entirely possible to give you an instant JavaScript tool that gives you the custom-made 62 nodes, and even graph the points too, but this takes time. Anyone out there feel like converting a vector geometry Intersect function to Java? I don't have the time to make you an online tool like this. Once you know where you want N1 to be and which way to cast out your line, just send me a note and I'll send back your own special list of 62 nodes, and perhaps a local map to see if you placed your lines in the right place. It's a lot like fly fishing. Or sometimes you just feel like you're searching for the Loch Ness Monster. Also, I have no idea if this 62-node grid has been explained in this manner, so if you never read about calculating your own 62-node grid like this, now you have. I made this routine so you could tell me to hammer the grid lines in place and tweak the lines to get them looking perfectly for your mind. Buckminster Fuller would probably have been interested in this idea of a custom-made 62-node grid.
