This 'marvel' was to be found in almost every Newspaper in connection with comments of the 'backwardness' of the 'New World'. What we from RMN know already - Mr. Darwin's 'theory' (reducing the wonderful self of everyone of us to a mere coincidental result out of 'primeslime' ) was just another scam - is sneaking into the (sub)headlines. I personally didn't develop from "dust of the ground" (Genesis 2:6-7), though my body did in some way - how's about you?
FIRESTORM IN GEORGIA
Georgia State Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox's proposal aims to strike the word EVOLUTION from the Georgia state curriculum. According to AP, the omission of 'evolution' and its replacement by 'biological changes over time' is Cox's way of protecting teachers in Georgia's conservative districts from being harassed by parents. Especially in the more conservative southern states, there is a rift between those who favor the teaching of creationism and those who favor the teaching of Darwinian theories.... (AP)

RABBIS GRANT PRODI 'HUMANITARIAN ACHIEVMENT' AWARD
Leading rabbis presented EC President Romano Prodi with a "humanitarian achievement" award in Vienna this Monday, in stark contrast to a dispute between the EC and Jewish leaders last month. Chief Rabbi of Israel Yona Metzger and Chief Rabbi of Antwerp David Lieberman presented Prodi with the Rabbinical Center of Europe's (RCE) award, which recognized Prodi's work in promoting cultural dialogue and protecting minorities. Prodi called for a "practical, working dialogue" at all social levels to fight anti-Semitism and said he hoped EU member states would agree soon on the Commission's framework decision proposal on racism and xenophobia, which proposes criminalizing anti-Semitic acts and Holocaust denial...
At the same time in a phantastic twist Austria's Jewish Community President Ariel Muzicant launched a verbal attack on Austria and the European Union as Prodi was awarded at the rabbinical conference in Vienna. Speaking from Jerusalem - where he was staying at that time - Muzicant said, "How much longer do we have to put up with the fact that our children get spat at on the way to school and have to be taught behind barbed wire? We constantly have to ask for more protection instead of being able to live in peace and security like everyone else. And Prodi then says, 'don't be frightened and trust us.'" He said the question of whether Jews have a future in Europe had not been discussed as much in Jewish communities since 1945. Muzicant said moreover, "My children left Austria because they couldn’t stand the constant stress of being Jews any longer." ???
Comment: I think I have had more emotional stress caused by these words of Mr. Muzicant than his children ever might have had in real 3-D-life. These kind of comments give a picture that's simply not true of Austria. Vienna welcomned the Rabbis for this worldwide conference and I didn't hear or read of any deprecating comments. And - don't forget, we have harsh laws against any form of 'Antisemitism' here in our 'old world' and believe me, the Judges at the courts do execute them...
- You see these are the real advantages of holding the title of being an 'old tradition'.
