Perhaps no connection here but,I suspect there is.Farsight-3 and Economica posted information on a stampede in Saudi Arabia killing two hundred or more religious pilgrims involved in the annual trek to Mecca.
I'm reading 'The Secret in the Bible'by Tony Bushby.
He relates that ancient Egyptian records mention a god named Leo
who resided on the Pyramid Plateau with fifteen associates,as a group known as 'Leo-prds'.Bushby explains how they eventually became known as Panthera or,today, Panthers.

The Panthers developed a confidential teaching system around the Osiris rites which led to the Mystery Schools and today's secret socities.He identifies a family group of people on Earth who still carry this Panther knowledge.
Back to the stampede.The nucleus of the ancient Egyptian religion was the capstone on the Great Pyramid which they called the Benben or Benben Stone.It seems this was some kind of crystal.At any rate it has been stolen from the Pyramid twice.
Once by a king Gudea of Sumeria who,it seems, built himself a faux pyramid,at "New Babylon", and wanted "the Celestial Object" or Benben Stone to cap it.This was around 2150 BC. There's no records found of how the Egyptions got it back but,apparently it was back in Egypt in 750 BC.
There is a lot of speculation on the location of this
Holy Object today but, Bushby relates that in 487 BC a Berber tribe from North Africa spent 14 months moving it to a location in todays Saudi Arabia that they named 'Akka' after the original name of the Benben stone.
Today it is in the shrine called the Ka'aba in Mecca(as M'Akka is called in english), according to Bushby.
If that is the case,I suspect someone wants it back at Giza which may be related to the recent building of a wall surrounding this area and restricting access to researchers.
What is known today as 'Old Cairo' was known as Babylon.
The one in Iraq was 'New Babylon'.
Don't know yet but,suspect Gudeas'Temple,which is a heap of mud bricks today,and the story of the 'tower of babel' are related as well as the story of King Solomon's Temple which some want to rebuild in it's original site at Jerusalem though archeologists have found no evidence that it was there.
Apologies for the rambling length of this but, it appears much of what we have considered history is being revised.The original House of the Panthers may be behind some of this.
