Terrific, Bonnie! This is so interesting because it's a bit counter-intuitive, but I've heard from so many people that raw animal foods increase their metabolism and make them warmer. One person I know was shovelling show without gloves after eating raw foods, including raw meat (organic, grass-fed) and a "live" fermented probiotic drink. And feeling energized yet relaxed as well, not an overstimulated feeling. The merits of raw fats in particular have been praised by diet guru Aajonus Vonderplanitz; his own personal experience with their healing effects is astonishing.. -karen
