Well, gigi & Bob, I will accept the challenge: there is one piece that comes to mind immediately: There have been so far two LARGE quake swams around the Loyalty Islands. The last one occurred two days ago. Many 5's, 6's and a few 7's. The first swarm around Christmas resulted in unusual eqs in Colorado and Utah. Why would that be? Well, the P103 waves for all Loyalty Quakes flow right up thru and down these two states and thus right through YELLOWSTONE. Yellowstone has thus as of two days ago received very large vibrational energies from this latest series of quakes. Have a hunch I am about to get the award for scaring people today, but here goes: (SORRY, BILLY) 1)There is a mad frenzy going on here in Montana to beef up all the bridges in the path of the two BIG, high, Yellowstone lakes. They don't begin these improvements until they are about a hundred miles away from Yellowstone, which gives you some idea of the horrendous amounts of water we are talking about. These bridge improvements are specifically designed NOT for Quakes but to survive HUGE ONRUSH OF WATER. They are making these changes even to bridges built this summer. And they are doing so (pouring concrete) in 5 feet of snow and zero degree weather which gives you some sense of the urgency. 2) Also, after gaining approval for snowmobiling privileges in Yellowstone directly from the Administration, the day before the 'season' was to begin, it was abruptly cancelled, and Yellowstone COMPLETELY closed. This devastated the surrounding communities who expected to entertain the mobilers. But the real question is what were they afraid of? Some snowmobiler reporting what he SAW? Don't tell me it was because they were concerned for lives. 2) All of Americas Lumber and Steel has been shipped to Kuwait resulting in HUGE shortages and skyrocketing price increases. (No sense in losing it all if Yellowstone blows. I mean they are going to have to build up their new Oil States of Iraq, are they not. Has everybody seen that map?!) 3) All of our jobs are being shipped overseas. (Big corps might as well get ready. No sense in losing all those assets to a Volcano.) 4) More and more young men and women are being sent overseas. (got to have a new work force and seed beginning for our new country, now, right?) 5) Now we are hearing that Iran is expecting to be the Car manufacturing Capital of the World and replace Detroit. (Well, there you go!) 6) FEMA is set to bid out 300 million dollars in architectural/planning fees for Disaster Cities to be built around the U.S. (Yes, a little late...I know...kinda makes ya wonder what they are REALLY up to. Maybe it is really for AFTER the 'event'?) 7) I HAVE SEEN THE PLANET: TWO NIGHTS AGO. IT IS AWESOME. About the size of 1/4 the full moon. It looks very, very much like the White Island Webcam photo of it. Couldn't see it last night. Too much weather. And it has to have an outside source of light to be seen. It was picking up the Sun's light when I saw it. The sun had already gone down for me, but was shining enough to make the planet glow and sparkle beautifully. Just stunning. (I accepted the invitation! Thanks for asking! ;-) So, I think the only item left off your list that kind of explains a whole lot of things is YELLOWSTONE. They expect it to blow. They don't know how devastating it will be, but they know its potential and it is scaring the heck out of them. Thus they think it okay to cause us panic and terror because most of us won't be around anyway, so whats the harm, right? Well, there you have it. Reporting from the Darkside of nature.
