... I would land on top of a mountain, and sit it out, until water world engulfs the earth, then I would redistribute a deck of divination cards to the survivors, and a cosmology to match the teachings, and start the game allover again...
If I was a bad alien, I would start telling the humans silly stories about the good ET's, such as printing scriptures that talk of angels and demons, and then I would braid the DNA of the humans into my own, and breed a few leaders in Brazil, or take a few leaders hostage, and then I would make them turn this planet into a prison camp, and then I would dig in, and wait until Cosmos turns, but all things considered I would figure out - too late alas - that none of it makes sense... because the good ET's have better technology than I have at my command... hmmm.. check mate. Therefore I would leave this planet and go as far away as my ships can carry me...
If I was a good ET, I would stay far away from this messy planet called earth, and I would fly back here in 9 years, to pick up those who made it alive...
But if I was a human, I would make friends with the aliens and the ET's, and not alienate them too much, because the human condition is ailing, but so is the aliens'...
And if I was a luminous being, or The Guidance, I would laugh at this hierarchy called "Cosmos", but nonetheless I'd try help the humans to upgrade their consciousness to match mine... even if I had tried it for a few thousand yugas and ages... it could be worthwhile watching... but I would not get involved, to be sure.
