CLINTON'S FAA PLANNED GLOBAL REMOTE CONTROL OF PLANES

The following is taken from an article entitled "Seamless Aviation: FAA's Wide Area Augmentation System" which appeared in the April 1995 issue of GPS World magazine. This article outlines the Clinton administration's plans to create a networked computer/satellite system, using Global Positioning System (GPS), to allow remote control of every airplane in the world. It further describes successful trials to remotely takeoff and land various airplanes (ranging from the Boeing 727, 737, 757, an Aerocommander 680E and an Airbus, to single-engine aircraft) by computer. Obviously, in light of the 9/11 attacks, the FAA's plan would allow terrorists to crash any plane in the world anywhere they want. Since Rayelan doesn't want us to post entire articles, I'll include just a few lines from this 8-page article:

"In December, 1993, DoD declared GPS to be in initial operational capability...The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) responded...by initiating a comprehensive satellite program-involving government, industry, and users-to expedite research, development, and field implementation of satellite-based navigation services...

"Because the satellite signals are available worldwide, GPS represents a unique opportunity for the international aviation community to start converging toward a goal of a single, integrated Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)...

"One part of FAA's plan to implement GPS is the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS)...

"The major airlines in the United States and around the world are flying to more international destinations and developing cooperation and joint alliances among themselves...The airlines will implement the WAAS only if it will lead to a single, seamless worldwide system that will allow them to reach their objective of flying and landing anywhere in the world...WAAS implementation will require countries, large and small, to work together toward a jointly operated and controlled navigation system."

In one of the trials, a Boeing 737 was modified for remote control by the mere addition of three antennas (only two required for GPS-a third for two nearby temporary beacons for precision landing), and two personal computer cards designed to interface with Boeing's Flight Control System (FCS).

Bear in mind that merely steering while in flight, such as in the WTC attacks, requires much less accuracy than needed for takeoffs and landing. The use of GPS alone (along with verification algorithms onboard in the receiver) for the en route phase of flights was approved by the FAA in 1992. The WAAS supplementation system to allow precision approaches was scheduled to be implemented in various parts of the U.S. in 1997 (including Washington, D.C. and New York) and completed nationwide by 2000.

Needless to say, it would not have been difficult for any knowledgable hacker to use this system to pilot the 9/11 planes into the WTC and Pentagon, if the FCS interface was installed on the planes. If not done so at the factory, it would have been a simple matter for a terrorist to infiltrate the airlines' repair facilities and make the installation. Furthermore, many airlines now service their commercial jets overseas, in both Muslim and non-Muslim countries, because labor is cheaper. And for that matter, if the terrorists decided not to use the U.S. system, they could have installed their own unique system and used a network of local beacons they established, which America could not shut down during the attack.

The FAA's proposal to move towards global remote control of airplanes would require conversion of commercial aircraft where it doesn't already exist, which would be easy. It could also mandate the conversion of private single engine planes or face banning from the skies. The ostensible reasons to be given by the NWO bureaucrats for implementation of global control of all airplanes are not hard to imagine: "It is unsafe to have pilots landing in crowded airports, and the system will avoid human error. Or a private pilot might have a heart attack and crash into someone's house, killing innocent people-with this system his plane could be safely landed by the government. And we can also use it to help fight drug smuggling." By this manner Americans' freedom of movement will be yet further curtailed.
