1. Choose a SUBJECT that fits what is in your post. SUBJECTS
such as "SAVE THIS!" or "HOLY COW!" are usually not appropriate.
They guarantee many readers will read your message in order to
find out what the SUBJECT line should already have told them.
2. Do NOT post "void of value" messages that contribute no
information. Examples: "I agree with you completely!" or
"I think you're full of it!", with no additional information,
are "void of value" and will be quietly deleted.
3. Item 2 is not 100% enforced. :-) There -are- times when it
-is- suitable to say, "Thank you; I appreciate your posting
that." Use your discernment. Keep in mind that RMN is expressly
-not- a "chat room" but is "an alternative news source" with
an informal atmosphere.
4. Please check the spelling of any word in your post that
you are unsure of, especially words in the SUBJECT line.
5. When replying to a post, do NOT use 'Reset' to clear the
text of the previous post from your reply. Using 'Reset'
deletes the number of the message you are replying to and
"breaks the thread" -- your new reply message ends up hanging
by itself in the Forum, instead of becoming part of the
developing thread of messages.
