This sentence alludes to the price fixing that the new world order boys have been doing to make sure the price of gold stays low, while they convince the "little people" that mankind has "grown" beyond the need for gold.
don't be fooled. They are purposefully keeping the price of gold low. This was done to try to negate the power of Faction 2's metal trusts. Remember... F-2 withdrew their money from the Nasdaq, paid off their lines of credit, and now their gold and other precious metals are unemcumbered and ready to be "sold"...
