I read an article yesterday about this very company and it's ties with Enron and the Chicoms..Looks like American taxpayers subsidize the building of these companies and then they file bankruptcy or for "protection," and then the chicoms step in and buy them for pennies on the dollars..and the management of the companies take the purchase money and run with it.. Probably to Brazil or Europe. The ones who really get screwed are us taxpayers. Here is information regarding a class action suit against Global Crossings.
