BLUSTERY ASTRO CONDITIONS: BUCKLE UP BEFORE SEPTEMBER TAKE-OFF
The often challenging Moon-Pluto conjunction occurs Saturday August 29 (around Noon EDT). Difficulty of the transit is greater as it occurs in Capricorn where the Moon is in detriment. Considering other factors in play as Moon passes Pluto this month, swelling anxieties about Public Trust tip much of humanity into a very touchy mood.
There is much to note about Pluto and keep in mind as Summer turns to Autumn in the North. Moon-Pluto is a good time to survey the tangle of energies indicated for September.
The intensity of September 2009 began building in August. Around August 20 a very knarly t-square became active, with Mars opposing Pluto and Mercury completing the T (see 'Townhalls'). This activating pattern remains in force all the way to the first couple days of September. On August 26 as the pattern came to its greatest precision, the participating planets were in the first degree of Cancer (Mars), Libra (Mercury), and Capricorn (Pluto) in the Tropical Zodiac.
This is very significant, as Pluto will station September 6 in 1 Capricorn, turning prograde. The intensifying 'Pluto-effect' kicks-in abruptly as Moon passes Pluto's longitude tomorrow, August 29. This station was mentioned in a December '08 post, which has background on the importance of Pluto's transition into Capricorn:
Life registers 'surreal' these days thanks to slow-moving Jupiter Chiron and Neptune in the Third Decan of Aquarius, at the activation point of a very unusual sequence of inputs from 150 degrees away in Cancer and Virgo during August and September. Things might seem 'extra-surreal' when the Moon passes the threesome in the pm September 2.
Energies will already be elevated approaching the Full Moon on the 4th in 13 Pisces (ANCIENT SWORD ON DISPLAY IN A MUSEUM). Rudhyar's Keyword: WILL POWER.
Don't expect the usual 'easing' after Full Moon. Mercury stations September 6. Fourteen hours later the Moon and Chiron form a 'Finger of God' pointing to Saturn (Structure). This is ONE likely breakdown-breakthrough point, possibly reflected in news on the 7th.
With the Merc Station in Libra, and Jupiter Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius, communications and the circulation of ideas will be very noticeably enhanced.
The 'Grand Trine in Air' will be in full-force mid-afternoon EDT when Pluto comes to apparent standstill on SEPTEMBER 11 in 1 Capricorn.
