So some can read and think SOME of the time!
You're right, it is incorrect as stated.
Hopefully I would have caught it if I hadn't accidently pushed the post button instead of the preview button!
What I was trying to say, before my two brain cells got themselves all tangled up, was that Bush's retreat back to the ranch had nothing to do with a change of a NWO annoucement plan because the meeting with Putin and then with China to follow had been planned weeks ago.
Also, I think there is lots of hope in our current situation.
Perhaps these will be know as "clarifying times" where we get shook up enough to see what's really going on, take stock and work to redirect.
I don't mean to imply that the NWO's total control is a foregone conclusion; otherwise I wouldn't take the time to do these posts.
Where there's Life there's Hope!
Let me also take this opportunity to add something about the Military Tribunal Courts.
According to Wednesday's WSJ, page A3, these courts are only supposed to apply to non U.S. citizens.
However, by the end of the article it gives two cases where U.S. citizens have been tried and convicted.
In 1942, in the Quirin case, a secret military tribunal imposed the death sentence on a U.S. citizen, Herbert Haupt.
The court ruled:
"Citizenship in the United States of an enemy belligerent does not relieve him from the consequences of a belligerency..in violation of the law of war."
Then just 8 months ago, the Quirin decision was used as the basis to uphold the 136 year old conviction of Dr. Samuel Mudd by a military court for aiding John Wilkes Booth after the Lincoln assasination.
Judge Paul L Friedman found that "citizens and noncitizens alike, whether or not members of the military, or under its direction and control" could be subject to military justice.
: Uh, no one said that - Dove said:
It appears from Bush
: Jr.'s retreat to his ranch, that the attempts to try to
: announce the bogus "new world order/one world
: order" have been totally stopped. I'm told the other
: countries have backed down as well. The plan had been to
: do the new world order/one world order announcement from
: the U.N. in New York today. However, White Knights'
: actions of the last week have effectively eliminated that
: possibility.[/blockquote]So the 'retreat' to the ranch
: seems to have been in place of announcing something
: "live, from the UN - it's the Gnu Whirled Odor!"
: according to Dove's post.
: Yah - announced the "beginning" of one, anyway.
: (Creeped me out at the time, so I recall it well. :)
: Yah - the (hopefully) good news is, it's reported today that
: there is bipartisan uproar over the tribunals idea: -----
: Friday November 16 3:19 PM ET
: Bush's Military Tribunals Draw Bipartisan Fire
: By Thomas Ferraro
: WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A leading liberal along with a top
: conservative on Capitol Hill on Friday denounced President
: Bush (news - web sites)'s executive order that permits secret
: military trials of suspected foreign terrorists.
: Rep. John Conyers, a Michigan Democrat, and Rep. Bob Barr,
: a Georgia Republican, said such trials would undermine the
: Constitution by denying defendants basic rights -- such as
: being able to confront their accusers and even having the
: proceeding open to the public.
: Both urged U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary
: Committee Chairman James Sensenbrenner, a Wisconsin
: Republican,
: to call a hearing to examine Bush's ``emergency'' order in the
: aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.
: ``Today we stand on the verge of a civil liberties calamity
: in this country,'' declared Conyers, a liberal who is the
: ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee.
: ``It is a fundamental concern to all of us on the Judiciary
: Committee and it ought to be to every American and person in
: this country,'' added Barr, a staunch conservative.

: I agree, that seems to be happening. The only hopeful 'spin' I
: can find for it is the possibility they're just busying
: themselves with ways to make mo' money in the days ahead.
: If they can get some 'defense contracts' nailed down right
: now, they might be left standing later...? Or something....
: Yes - the 'veil' is thinning, fer shur. :) All that noise on
: September 11 roused many dreamers, I think.
