Now, I can't speak for other areas, but what is being spread around the net is NOT what happened here in my little area of Northern NH. Last Friday, as my Wife and I took a walk down around the lake (my road goes around the back half of a small lake), I noticed some one by one of the old abandoned camps, doing something on a PDA. Right away I knew who he was and what he was doing. It was the Census guy. Funny thing though, contrary to what I had read on the net, he went to EVERY House and Camp (there are a quite a few of summer camps on my road). Even the old abandoned camps, which you can cleary see are old and abandoned camps. By the end of our walk, he was at the bottom of our driveway (which is about 120 feet long). He had his Census ID around his neck. He came over to us to let us know who he was, and what he was doing. I told him I already had guessed that is who he was. He asked me NO questions whatsoever! After a few minutes, he moved on to the next house, and the next, till he left the road. He did NOT skip even one House. My next door neighbor is an elderly lady, owns NO firearms, and is a hard-core democrat! He did her house. As well as the couple 2 houses down (they are both lawyers, and democrats as well).
Several days later, I could see another Census person (this time a woman) coming down the road, doing all the houses and camps again. She knocked on our door. She had her Census ID around her neck. She asked me only 1 question. Did I see the Census person the other day, and did he ask me any questions. I told her yes I saw him, and NO, he did not ask me any questions. She replied that was good, because he was not supposed to ask any questions. She then let me know that she was there to check his work. She had to re-do every house and camp to make sure his info was accurate. She then said goodbye, and left. Typical government waste! Do everything twice!
