Two interesting bits of info from this Austrian news article:
Who is the unnamed lady doctor who arrived at the accident scene and apparently administered a blood transfusion to Haider? Has her testimony been heard and recorded?
Also, Public Prosecutor Gottfried Kranz' retort that there can be no other explanation for the car crash also raises a red flag.
Items in capital letters are included for emphasis.

The medical director of the LKH hospital, Thomas Koperna, reported at a press conference on Saturday morning about the heavy injuries sustained by Haiders and HOW THEY HAVE BEEN DESCRIBED TO HIM BY THE EMERGENCY LADY DOCTOR WHO TRIED A LEAD-IN SUPPLY [blood transfusion?] AT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT. Because Haider was buckled into his car by his seat belt, he suffered massive injuries to his head and chest. Koperna: "Furthermore, his spinal column might have been broken and his left arm was nearly completely severed." NEVERTHELESS, the national captain [Haider] was brought to the LKH hospital. However, he was already dead upon arrival.
The three-month-old vehicle was technically sound. "ANY SPECULATIONS ABOUT OTHER CAUSES FOR THE ACCIDENT ARE VOID THEREBY," stressed Dr. Gottfried Kranz.
