IMO they are trying to make one last ditch effort to get funds for themselves before the transparent Basel II requirements are activated. IMO it is so obvious that this bailout is a fraudulant action and congress person who votes for this bailout will find themselves a party to the fraud and they are conered and don't know what to do. Futhermore they are so cornered and so paniced that the proposal was what? 3 pages in it's entirety with wording that only explained how they shouldn't be scrutinized?
