: Coincidently, according to my information the NORC : consortium got the final results of the count on September 10. : They were supposed to be released Monday, September 17. The : consortium has put the news release on "indefinite : hold" because of the national disaster of 9/11. (Where did I read this?) Somewhere we've seen a message, suggesting 'the plan' is that Bush will eventually resign, citing as his reason, "For the good of the country because I don't have a clear mandate," or something similar. Logically that would put Cheney in the Oval Office, unless his health declines - in which case we'd look up and see Powell standing there instead. Next question, then: Is Powell a 'White Knight', or...? --hobie
