READER THINKS THEY HAVE LITTLE CHANCE OF PUTTING IT IN IDAHO
I can't say I agree with this. I'm sure it can be put off for a few years but money talks. It's happening all over America. In Tennessee, in New Mexico and now in Idaho.
Thank You for your very valued opinion. I sincerely hope you are right!
Personally I am not terribly concerned about AREVA. What
will happen is AREVA starts the various permitting and
approval process and will get sued, sued, sued, sued at every
step of the way by various groups and organizations.
That will turn the project form a 2-5 year permitting and
construction project to a 20-30 year time-line. About 5-10
years into that AREVA will get wise to what is going on
and move to some third world nations where they can get
approved almost instantly...with a few cash gifts etc etc.
Then that nation will be polluted and people will
definitely be exposed to harmful radiation, all the while the
various alleged and pro environmental groups will tout what a
big victory the defeat was, never minding that the
pollution and crap will just move to some other nation in the
world. I don't have much use for these groups because of that
very concept...they allegedly care about the environment as
long as its our country BUT if its pollution and
environmental problems in another country them don't seem to care as much.
The one plus of it being in the USA is that it will have
regulatory oversight and the plant can be monitored.
