ROCKING HARD WITH A CHRISTIAN SUBTEXT: FLYLEAF AND "I'M SO SICK"
THE FOLLOWING MUSIC VIDEO FROM THE GROUP "FLYLEAF"
WAS PROMINENTLY FEATURED IN "LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD"
Released in late June of 2007, the fourth installment
of Bruce Willis' signature movie role, as the New York
Police detective John McClane, featured the veteran
juvenile actor Justin Long as the "hacker boy." He
and seven other computer wizards were employed by a
much-disgruntled genius ( Timothy Olyphant as Thomas
Gabriel ), and his paramour Mai ( Maggie Denise Quigley,
otherwise known professionally as Maggie Q ), in a plot
to crash the entire North American computer network.
The type of sabotage they were plotting in Die Hard 4 is
called "a fire sale," as in ... "everything must go".
The entire music video by Flyleaf is not presented in
that movie, but its inclusion provided an enormous boost
to their visibility and thus to their popularity.
Flyleaf has many fans in the Christian music community.
