Apparently, this Phoenix really does rise from its ashes. Although the rumors of his demise were, obviously, greatly exaggerated and no such official declaration was ever made - Adm. Turner did a marvelous job (this is said with sincere appreciation) of disappearing off all radars for over a year and a half after the helicopter in which he was riding crashed in Costa Rica killing his wife, an American couple and a Spainard. Within days he "disappeared" into Brooks Army Hospital in Texas and all inquiries by myself, Rayelan and others hit stone walls. Well, folks, he's baaaaaaaaaaack and hitting all the usual high-profile interviewee seats on the D.C. circuit. What does this mean, if anything??? I don't know ... speculate away and draw your own conclusions. However, I would bet my bottom dollar that his appearances are very, very significant and that "someone" somewhere is getting a message ... loud and clear.
