I guess the item is that Carnaby was in Houston and the DC Madam was in Florida, in a suburb of Tampa. A lot of people might have assumed at first that because it was the "DC Madam" that she might have died in DC. Last year we had the strange and confusing story of the lady astronaut who allegedly drove from Houston to Orlando. I don't think we have the full scoop on THAT situation either. :-)
This then raises the question of WHERE was Carnaby heading before he was finally stopped? Does anyone know the location of where the chase began and where the chase ended? Does it appear that Carnaby was heading toward an airport, or helipad, or to a Federal Building, the building where his job was located, etc.?
Could the airport, helipad, or other facility have been 'secret,' not known to the general public, hence partly explaining his attempts to elude police in a very high speed chase? In any case, he wouldn't have had much luck hiding his destination as a number of police helicopters were also reportedly tracking him.
On the DC Madam angle, could the "suicide" have been faked and the DC Madam is on the witness protection circuit? For that matter, could there be any fakery concerning Carnaby? Could, say, a look-alike have been killed in his place, while the 'real' Carnaby is also in the witness protection program?
I'm not setting anything into concrete, I'm raising questions. The questions may be outrageous, they may be highly unlikely, but these are the kinds of questions which need to be raised and ruled out whenever strange episodes like these occur.
Like the magician's sleight of hand, are we being led to believe one thing when it is actually something else?
