Citizens being small minded got this country in the state its currently in. More often than not the joke is on all of us. Carnaby was president of the Houston AFIO , whom G HW Bush sits on its board. All non essential officers where called off the chase, TV air support was warned they’d face new FAA Homeland violations if they didnt back off, FOUR HPD copters participated in the chase, he was cuffed and died with a solo 40 calibre round in his chest while waiting for ems. This is not standard procedure. Carnaby was to host Michael Sheuer , CIA Bin Laden chief , in 2 weeks at the Sheraton Galleria dinner. Dont kid yourself this wasnt normal. And apparently the plates are registered to the AFIO. Every officer on the site [7] was a decorated veteran, except one hpd swat support staff. Thanks for posting those articles,,keep your mind open.

OK on all of the comments but the question that I have is why were the police concerned that he had a concealed weapons permit. A CWP should re-assure the police that they are dealing with a citizen, not a thug. I carry a CWP and and the question has never come up in a normal traffic stop.
What transpired that he started running after their check revealed that he had a permit?

Some years back some of the ‘Local Yokels’ raided a house because of a tip from someone of ’suspicious activity’ there. The cops found weapons and a shit load of money. The locals were scratching their heads when some people wearing suits and dark glasses showed up from the FBI. (Or they said they were FBI and had FBI I.D.s)
The upshot of all this was the locals were told to STFU and MTOB or things would turn ugly for them. And they did as they were told.
IMO, the house that was raided was a ’safe house’ for either the FBI or the Company or some covert group. I had some dealings with the ‘Company’ many years ago and if any of you remember Colonel Frick from MASH then you have a picture of how these cats act and talk.
If the guy who was killed was running and either a real employee of the Company or a contractor he had a good reason for running, (Or thought he did) but we’ll never know what that reason was.
