The forst response brings up an idea that my assumption of a connection to the "ground-forces" of 9/11 might be indeed more than a mere speculation if we remember that there was indeed a "channel of money" flowing through Casinos. Those of "Bag Man" Abramoff - who was visited by one of those "Attas" before the planes struck the towers...
...plus, the Litvenenko story broke same day the ....

Actually "Goldfinger" is about Ian Fleming picking on Old Man Rockefeller for
stealing the Gold out of Fort Knox. There is VERY LITTLE gold in Fort Knox in

Ever since I became aware of the fact that Ian Fleming was MI-5 and wrote the
Bond Flick to reflect a Global Event I have tried to figure out what each Bond
Flick is really about. Early last summer it dawned on me the "Diamond Are
Forever" was about Howard Hughes. Hughes was Area 51 and the villain in Diamond
was Onassis!

Have you ever wondered who "SPECTRE" is? - The Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion - a (fictional) terrorist organisation featuring in the 007 novels. Led by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the organization first appeared in the novel Thunderball - the story of the two stolen nuklear bombs. Note that the villain there is named Emilio Largo - so possibly from Italian origin...

The goals of that rogue secret organization in Fleming's novels are extortion and world domination. Their basic strategy is illustrated by the analogy of the three Siamese fighting fish, Blofeld keeps in an aquarium in the movie "From Russia with Love". Blofeld notes that one fish is refraining from fighting two others until their fight is concluded. Then, that cunning fish attacks the weakened victor and kills it easily. Thus SPECTRE's main strategy is to instigate conflicts between two powerful enemies, and intending to win their candestine fight by "divide and conquer"...
