This only explains the lack of support Ron Paul got from the Libertarian Party. My husband always voted Libertarian, but because of the way they refused to support Ron Paul, he never will again. This could have been their chance. They could have suspended their presidential primary to support him; they could have allowed their members to cross over without penalty, but they never did. The Libertarian Party had a great chance to increase membership. They ended up turning off the other Ron Paul supporters. Go ahead, Libertarians, stay in your little fringe world. It's nice and safe in there!
