I just managed to read the Washington Post's comment about the GOP debate that was distributed via Internet.
I was longing to hear something new from our all hope, Dr.Ron Paul, and how he did make it there.
I couldn't find him!
First I thought he had been excluded from the debate - like it was the case most of the time at the start of GOP's efforts to convince their voters once again every four years how grand and traditional they all would be - and how different they are compared to this other GOP - who call themselves "Democrates".
But - as hope is always the last thing to die - I didn't give up on searching Washington's flagship of presstitutial freedom of information about my favourite choice.
But nothing about Dr.Ron Paul. Already a bit confused I continued towards the second page of those informations from that presstitutial grand paper - and voila! - my Ron Paul detector made some noises, finally --- but rather quietly --- to say it honestly.
The part read as follows:
...Later, McCain and Paul clashed over Iraq and foreign policy, with McCain accusing the congressman of the kind of isolationism that allowed Adolf Hitler to come to power in the 1930s...
Bump!
But now my BS-meter had started to come alive! And how it went off! The hands almost hit the ceiling far off the scale! It almost blew apart its case but lucky me I could manage to disconnect it from its power source in time, so it survived - and hopefully - it wasn't damaged too badly.
So Ron Paul definitely had been included in that latest discussion, finally. Although, in some strange surrounding I guess. As it's not even historically true - but nevertheless politically correct what was stated there about that "isolationism".
And besides - Germany didn't own such a grand piece of Constitution like America did. Yeah, "did"....
So any comparison with pre WWII Germany might be correct in some way - but that again would have nothing to do with Dr. Ron Paul - just on the contrary!
But anyhow, as WP stated there were some "funny" parts too - for the presstitutional enlightenment and entertainment of those cheering crowds!
As the WP sees it there even "were moments of levity, often provided by Huckabee, whose best line of the night was in answer to a question about what Jesus would do about the death penalty.
"Jesus was too smart to ever run for public office," Huckabee said, prompting laughter on the stage and in the audience..."
So, so - "moments of levity". Luckyly, they didn't misspell it for some "Leviathan".
And additionally - I think I can even top Mr.Huckabee's (Can someone tell me why I have to think of Mark Twain always when I read his name?) "levity" with continuing this grand, ol' idea: Jesus wouldn't be in a 'public office', I agree, but most probably you would find him sitting somewhere around Guantanamo Bay...
But returning to my overall (and surely "biased") dissatisfaction with the MSM's reporting style. On that one I think I am in a boat with Dr. Ron Paul who said he is largely "a vehicle for widespread dissatisfaction with the status quo" too.
"This country is in a revolution," Paul said. "They're sick and tired of what they're getting. And I happen to be lucky enough to be part of it."
