Fair enough, and prolly most _everyone_ here at RMN, whether Agent or Reader, feels that same way. (If they didn't, I don't think they'd be here at RMN.) The question is why you're convinced Faction 2 would end up demanding that you "bow." Where's _that_ idea coming from...?

Uh, but don't you get it? The idea is that Faction 2 (and possibly the Chinese Secret Societies) is "their enemy," the very one you're saying you'd help do it. :)
(Do I _know_ this to be true? I do not - I haven't knowingly met anyone who is part of Faction 2. I don't know anyone who has, except for Rayelan. Have you? Do you know better than Rayelan does, about who those folks are and what their intentions might be...?)
