Yes, vinegar kills bacteria and viruses. It's an acid with low pH. Viruses
survive in a limited range of pH. Vinegar also works well if taken internally,
to kill off colds. You could also RAISE your body pH instead, by using an
alkaline substance like baking soda. A lot of old time cold and flu remedies
used an acid or a base. Some of the current remedies do too.
I use vinegar instead of chlorine bleach to kill germs on counters, and I use
it
to wash veggies.
Food grade hydrogen peroxide works too. So does ozone. These use oxygen to kill
