LETTER FROM AN EXILE

In Roland Huntford's 1971 work about Swedish society the former correspondent for the London Observer provides insightful observations about how the ruling political faction, the Social Democrats, was able to change the face of Sweden - and the values of the population - to suit their party's leftist ideology.
"The Swedes have pursued broadly the same aims as the Russians: the creation of the new man for the new society, the restraint of individuality, the generation of a collective mentality and the advancement of central direction," Huntford wrote.
"When the Swedes change ideas, they do it to the full, leaving no room for criticism or reservation. The country lacks intellectual defences; anything new will conquer without resistance being offered."
WHAT INTELLECTUAL DEFENSE?
While Huntford's harsh statement, "The country lacks intellectual defences; anything new will conquer without resistance being offered," was written about Sweden of the 1970's after decades of Social Democrat rule, his words would serve as a most apt and suitable description of the United States today.
I left the United States in November 2001 because I had concluded it would be extremely unsafe to remain in the country and continue to write articles about the evidence that indicated that the terror attack of 9-11 was a Zionist false-flag operation designed to change public opinion, impose draconian security measures, and launch the illegal wars of aggression called for in the Zionist gameplan known as the "war on terror."
I was right about it being unsafe.
There was certainly no resistance being offered in the controlled media to the audacious lies about 9-11 being pushed by the first G.W. Bush administration and the Department of Justice headed by John Ashcroft and Michael Chertoff. Furthermore, the United States has, for the past 6 years, shown an appalling lack of intellectual defences to counter and challenge the fairy tail explanation of 9-11 and the utterly fraudulent and criminal "war on terror" that followed in its wake.
This isn't to say that there are no American intellectuals opposed to the Zionist nightmare imposed on the United States, but their views are certainly not seen or heard on the nightly news. They are effectively marginalized, ridiculed, defamed and slandered by the Zionist-controlled media, as I have been since November 2001. The pro-war slant of the mass media in the United States has been as overwhelming and effective as any Nazi or Soviet propaganda ever was.
Where is the intellectual and spiritual resistance to the illegal aggression against Afghanistan and Iraq? Where is the popular resistance to the atrocities that occur in U.S.-run prisons in occupied Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Cuban gulag known as Guantanamo? Why are Americans seemingly incapable of preventing such crimes from being done by their government - in their name?
The U.S. war in Viet Nam spanned the time I was in first grade until I finished high school, and there was a significant grass roots resistance to that war. The anti-war music of that period left an indelible mark on my conscience - and the nation's.
The current war against Iraq began in January 1991. This war has now lasted more than 16 years and taken more than 1 million Iraqi lives yet I cannot recall a single noteworthy anti-war song from this entire period. There will certainly not be a Woodstock against the "war on terror."
SELF-IMPOSED EXILE
Self-imposed exile is defined as being voluntarily absent from one's home or country. That would describe me as I have spent the greater part of the past 6 years, since 9-11, in self-imposed exile.
I continued to research and write about 9-11, the "war on terror," and other Zionist frauds and crimes from safer and less hostile locations.
We returned to our home in 2005 and soon learned that our comings and goings were being monitored by the FBI with the help of two informants who had tried to befriend us. This led us to leave the country once again in September 2005.
In March 2006, we returned to the United States. We spent the first three months on the road visiting 9-11 researchers like Steven E. Jones, Thomas Cahill, Eric Hufschmid, and Ellen Mariani. We knew that we were not safe from the authorities at our home near Chicago and were extremely reluctant to spend any time there.
In June 2006, Chris Petherick, the managing editor of American Free Press, suddenly cut my expense and travel budget from $1,000 per month to nothing. Willis A. Carto and his editorial staff were evidently not interested in cutting-edge 9-11 research that involved any expense. This drastic cut in my business expense budget had been preceded by two slashes in my wages, each time a ten percent cut.
Carto had been trying to get me to stop writing for several years but I stubbornly refused to become a "lobbyist" in Washington and continued my 9-11 research.
Finally, in the beginning of August 2006, we returned to our home in Hoffman Estates. The utility room drain needed routing so I spent some time on the roof from which I noticed that the local police were spending a great deal of time around my house. At one point a SUV from the HEPD stopped in front of my house to take a good look at me. They certainly did not hide the fact that they were watching me. Every time I went for a bike ride to the store or library I noticed a police car near my house. They must have had orders to drive past my house once an hour.
On 15 August 2006 the police harassment went even further. I called 911 to report that an undercover car with three armed men was prowling around my home for the second night in a row. This resulted in this tactical team coming to my house and assaulting me.
I wound up TASERed while being restrained by two men and handcuffs. This certainly fits the description of torture. My right elbow was fractured and I was effectively dragged into the corrupt Cook County courts - charged with aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer.
This was just the beginning of the attack on me and my credibility.
