Perhaps Benedict’s shield is intended to revivify oaths once taken, and
now finally prepared to deliver on. Might not a spiritual compatriot with
the Ras Tafari, with deep memories of the darkness of 1316, carry the
Ethiopian Head on their banner Waiting for the day to avenge the
unimaginable loss, and return light to the throne.
Perhaps as you suggest, the true Templars and true Ras Tafari are brothers
with the same star origins, traditions, and knowledge.
Perhaps Benedict is a Ras Tafari Pope as well as a Templar Pope? Perhaps
many unlikely allies have gathered to deliver the news to the usurpers.
