PRINCETON IS JUST NORTH OF WHERE THE INTERSTATE CROSSES...
...from Illinois to Indiana in the southwest (lower left corner) of Indiana.
I can't put a pin there, either, don't know how to do it.
If someone can, I'd like to see it.
No one here is saying anything about seismic activity, if that's what you mean. But we feel 'shakes' here all the time (P-ton is about 35 miles directly east of our house and across the river...we can see, from our office, the smokestacks from the Duke Energy power plant sitting there.)
There WAS a shake last night, about 3 a.m. They do underground mining and (we've heard allegations of) illegal blasting at the wee hours in the morning over in Wabash County, right adjacent to us, and we feel bumps, shimmies and rattles all hours of the night on any given night of the week.
If they over in Princeton don't know that this kind of thing is going on in Wabash right across the river, they may have sent those men down in that bucket thinking it "checked out" at close of business yesterday, but with all the bumps going on overnight, something might've shaken loose and changed what "checked out" okay just 24 hours before.
I believe they're two different coal companies, working to feed the power plant, so it's very possible one doesn't know what the other is doing. Competition and all that.
One of our mines in Wabash County goes right UNDER the Wabash River from Wabash Co., Ill., to Gibson Co., Ind. Jack has been on a tour through there. I'd never do it; too claustrophobic.
